If you want a vegan smoothie, just use vegan milk. The bananas should be nice and ripe so that the smoothie has a healthy, natural sweetness. The smoothie can be sweetened with dried fruit, depending on your preference. Here apricots, dates, cranberries are conceivable - a teaspoon of honey or agave syrup would also be possible. Simply add the ice cubes and mix. It doesn't have to be espresso ice cubes if you don't like coffee.
